This page is currently under construction - please feel free to email William Stewart with any images you'd like to place on this site - to get things going, I've included one of "Alpine Valley" on the surface of the moon that I took a couple of years ago with a 4" refractor and a webcam.
The diagonal linear structure to the left of centre is a rift valley where two sections of the moon's crust have moved in opposite directions and the narrow strip of land in between has dropped down. The valley's width is approximately 7 miles. Don't forget that the moon is over 1/4 million miles miles away - all hail the power of the humble webcam!
