|---|---|---|---|---|
Launched during the summer of 2006, South Cheshire Astronomical Society (SCASTRO) is dedicated to providing advice, support and encouragement to those people in and around the Crewe & Nantwich area who have an interest in astronomy and spaceflight. There are no limits associated with age or experience - the only pre-requisite is an enthusiasm for the subject! |
Welcome to the SCASTRO Website ! The Square of Pegasus rides high in the South East as darkness falls. Counting how many stars you can see within the square is a classic test of conditions - my record is 13 - how many can you count?
Later on in the evening the spectacular Winter constellations of Taurus and Orion rise in the East.
Come along and join us for one of our regualr observing sessions if you want tyo learn more.
Clear Skies! William |

This website is beyond the major construction phase but is still very much a work in progress - please be patient if the site doesn't quite have the final polish that (I hope!) it will ultimately achieve. |
